KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 (Bernama) -- The crowd will definitely not forget the high-octane celebration of Japan Expo Malaysia last year especially the spectacular star-studded performance. Pikotaro, the Internet sensation rendered his all popular Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen” (PPAP) song before a crowd that cheered and danced to the electro beat music.

Themed on "The Infinite Japan", the inaugural event drew about 120,000 fans worldwide, is the largest Japanese Expo in Malaysia.
 
This year is no exception. The good news is JAPAN EXPO MALAYSIA is back again with much vigor and mind-blowing performances.
 
Organized by G-Yu Creative Ltd and Siam Connection Sdn Bhd, the expo celebrates the decades' long relationship between Malaysia and Japan.
 
JEMY 2019 will run from July 26 through July 28 at the Pavillion, Kuala Lumpur, and will be an ideal avenue for all Japanophiles. From paintings to martial arts, mangas to J-POP, this event definitely needs to be in your bucket list this year.
 
Besides, the expo receives prestigious guests from different fields each year. Japanese fashion lovers will get everything they could possibly eye on, as Kunitar will be displaying her MUGEN collections during this 3–day celebration.
 
JEMY has been a meeting point for scores of cosplayers consecutively and fans can look forward to witnessing cosplay parade, snapping pictures and popping at the merchandise stalls.
 
Celebrity cosplayers like THAMES will be meeting the large crowd during their fan meet session to share inspiring stories on how they had lived out their fantasies.
 
Inspired by the Japanese unique culture since young, Yupharet Eakturapakal,the organizer and founder of G-Yu Creative  Ltd  added  “ It is an expo of all kinds, we have  a whole range of activities like Origami, Kyudo (Japanese Archery)  or Kendoma (Japanese Skill Toy) that will make you discover Japanese culture as if you were there!”
 
Building on the success of last year’s event, JEMY 2019 will see 50 exhibitors from 6 different zones.
 
Expect attendees to swarm the Travel and Prefecture Zone. With the Rugby World Cup coming up later this year and Tokyo hosting the 2020 Olympics Games, exhibitors will be in a buoyant mood to offer travel deals to visitors. Those intending to explore cities like Hokkaido, Okinawa and many more will be in for a treat. 
 
On the other hand, students who aspire to master the Japanese language or further their study can tour the Education Zone to obtain details on visa processing and education options in Japan.
 
Last but not least, the event will be incomplete without having visitors experiencing and sampling the plethora of Japanese cuisine that will be available outdoors.
