Solera has new CEO in Jeffrey Tarr

KUALA LUMPUR, May 29 (Bernama) -- Solera Holdings Inc (Solera), a global leader in risk and asset management data and software as a service solutions has appointed Jeffrey R. Tarr as director and new chief executive officer (CEO), replacing Tony Aquila.

“Jeff’s wealth of experience and focus on building a high-performing team and culture committed to unlocking values for customers and shareholders alike, make him the perfect leader for this next phase in Solera’s growth,” said Vista Operating Principal and Solera Board member, Darko Dejanovic.

Tarr has two decades of experience leading data and technology-enabled services companies spanning multiple sectors, according to a statement.

Most recently, he served as CEO and DigitalGlobe Inc president, where he led the launch of innovative products that leveraged AI and other new technologies, entering new markets and nearly tripling the company’s revenue.

Tarr also serves on numerous corporate and philanthropic boards, including member of the Board of Directors of EchoStar Corporation and chairman of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Management Board, among others.
