Two Malaysians receive Chartered Accountant Fellowships

KUALA LUMPUR, June 26 (Bernama) -- Two Malaysian Chartered Accountants, Anthony Lee and Anees Hazleena recently received Fellowships, the highest recognition in the accounting profession.
Chartered Accountant Fellowships are peer awarded for outstanding career achievements and contributions to the profession via business and community endeavors.
The award was presented by Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand President, Stephen Walker here.
He said the Chartered Accountants' designation was internationally recognised for its commitment to building long-term prosperity for clients and communities, while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
Recipient, Anees expressed gratitude at receiving the award and able to refer herself as a chartered accountant.
According to her, as a chartered accountant, she was trained to think critically and analytically, which ultimately led her to achieve many deliverables.
Anees is the Head of Finance for Liquefied Natural Gas Marketing and Trading sector in Gas and New Energy Business, PETRONAS where she undertakes the role of the Chief Financial Officer for the PETRONAS LNG Sdn Bhd Group of Companies.
