PPZ-MAIWP contributes to prisoner development activities

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 13 – The Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council Zakat Collection Centre (PPZ-MAIWP) has contributed RM3,000 to help increase prisoner development activities at the Kajang Prison.

In a statement today, its chief executive officer, Ahmad Shukri Yusoff, said the contribution via its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, Khaira PPZ, was to improve motivation and spiritual wellness.

He said it was also an initiative to provide information regarding Khaira PPZ and zakat (tithing) to the prison officers.

Along with this, Ahmad Shukri, delivered a talk entitled ‘Masih Ada Yang Sayang’ (someone still loves you).

Kajang Prison director, Abdul Halim Ma-Hasan, was also present.
